AMA Summary 10/27/2022
Hello BMC Family,
We are officially 5 days away from the first ever play to mine Bitcoin game, Mission to Mars! We are so excited as we get closer and closer to arriving on Mars!
Now, let’s dive in to today’s AMA summary topics!
Money 20/20 Event:
As many of you all know, some of the team were attending Money 20/20 over the last few days. Money 20/20 had a lot in store for BMC. There were a lot of industry connections that are not only involved in building in the Web 3 space, but they have a lot of experience building in this space. The people our team was able to connect with at Money 20/20 brought a lot to the table. Either they themselves were the right people to get to know or could connect BMC with the right people. We were able to develop new relationships with many people who are interested in learning more about BMC. Every conversation was meaningful whether people could regardless if it was more formal or informal.
Let’s just say BMC have quite a list of follow-ups to do after this week.
Of course the big question in the space was about what is going on with the SEC investigation into Yuga Labs. We were fortunate to connect with people involved enough that not only have their ear to the ground with legislation and regulation, but also are helping write the legislation itself. We were able to make a connection with them and are excited to be able to expand upon these new relationships to learn how we can best prepare BMC for the future.
Pat recognized that out of 60-70% of the conversations we had someone would show a genuine interest in BMC and that wanted to talk with us what we are doing to provide utility to the community.
Many of the people we had conversations with were impressed by our introductions, what BMC has accomplished, and our track record so far.
When we got deeper into those conversations, many people wanted to get involved and learn more. That obviously reaffirms a lot of things for us.
Transportation of 100 Miners Update:
For those that are not aware, our original 100 miners were located at Core Scientific in Georgia. Luckily we timed this move right and feel like we dodged a bullet due to them announcing they will not be able to make their debt payments and could potentially be facing Bankruptcy. Their stock has dropped over 75% today let alone.
Core Scientific is one of the largest publicly traded crypto mining companies in the United States, so if they are unable to retain their miners the overall mining difficulty goes down which would be good news for us. Cheap mining equipment is likely to hit the market now with these big mining farms experiencing situations like this.
We are happy to report that our miners have arrived and should be running by the first week of November anytime from the 1st-5th and they will be profitable unlike with the previous facility!
Winner of Ape Tank Wars!
We provided a recent article on being the first ever winners of Ape Tank Wars which can be referenced here. As mentioned previously, for winning this pitch contest we will be receiving a full segment on Ape Tank which is very exciting for us as a project due to many members of the Bored Ape Yacht Club tuning into Ape Tank pretty frequently.
They're helping provide us with quite a few resources to do a full audit on BMC regarding our Discord, Website and contracts. We have no fear that we will get past this process. The reason for this vetting process is due to Bored Apes that are Members of this community. It's a closed discord community that will eventually buy these projects that have cleared all the way through said vetting process.
Floors are mighty thin for an event like this, especially when you Bored Apes interested in a project.
Although we haven't hit marketing too hard, this is another big way for us to use word of mouth to create excitement for BMC. Additionally, if anyone in the community is familiar with any DAO projects please feel free to let us know. It's a really great opportunity for us to continue to spread BMC here in the space especially with launch right around the corner!
Beta Testing and Mission to Mars:
We recently announced that Beta Testing has been live! Things are going well in regards of beta testing and we appreciate the few selected members that have been helping us and providing feedback. We are so excited for you all to land on Mars!
When we launch on Tuesday, November 1st, just know that although anybody can go into the platform to view, the only people that can actually participate at this time are Holders. Players will be able to view assets, navigate around, claim mars miners, and more.
We are looking to do a YouTube Video with instructions for the game and launch sometime around Monday or Tuesday. The video will contain instructions as well as a dedicated article on Substack. There's a lot of changes to the UI that will be smoother and just remember that this is the beginning of Mars. Additional functionality, what buildings do, marketplaces, and more will be added to the game.
We just wanted to not make you guys wait for much longer here as we're getting close to the end of the year. There are so many things that can be built on this platform which will continue to be updated and we’re happy that you all will be able to follow along and mine BTC in your own wallets!

Sharkeesha’s Question: How do we get our earned BTC from playing the game?
You will be credited in real time on your account at the end of every day. So every 24 hours you get an update by the end of that day with the amount of Bitcoin you mine for that day based on the amount of the T/H you own. The withdrawal function will soon follow the game launch and we don’t anticipate players will take Bitcoin out of the game right off the start.
We can’t provide an exact time frame at this time (Edit: two week timeframe was given as a best case, but that was incorrect) . For everyone’s awareness, as part of the profile creation process you will go to your profile and input a Bitcoin wallet address. You don't have to add the wallet address to create your account, but you do have to once you want to start withdrawing Bitcoin.
You will be able to track what you have and what your credits are in terms of Bitcoin in your account in real time at all times. We included graphs of how you’re doing, energy costs and a leaderboard to see where you stand amongst other holders.
TFA’s Question: Any updates on when we can transfer hash token between wallets?
That is another functionality that is similar to the withdraw function and will be looking to be implemented a few weeks after launch. We just wanted to cover the immediate needed functions for the game. We will provide more information regarding all things coming for future updates within the game through our Substack.
TheBean’s Question: Are the 77 miners the game is starting with going online when the game launches?
They won’t be going live November 1st, but will be on shortly after. We have two different offers right now for hardware that we are considering. The only reason we haven't bought anything yet is because the turn around time for acquiring these new miners shouldn’t be long.
We would like to see the immediate numbers for all the hashdroids that are claiming their terrahash at launch. We'll make sure that the window is pretty long for that as well. It's not just going to be open for three days to a week or something like if you do not claim it you lose it. Nothing like that. We're going to make sure to have that window open and provide people with plenty of time to get those free Mars miners.
Boomshakalaka’s (Dres) Question: What’s the latest in regards to WL for land?
Whitelist for land will be shortly after launch of the game. We're not in the biggest hurry to put it out there. The biggest thing is the legal side of it because the utility we were attempting to build in land especially the first one was straight up return and we just have to be very careful about how we packaged this utility. We do foresee it being quite a few different things packaged into the utility of land. We imagine that in a few weeks we'll begin the the whitelist process for land.
