COMMUNITY YIELD UPDATE

We want to provide an update on our community yield for the month of February. Given that February is a shorter month with only 28 days, we lost 2-3 days of mining compared to a normal month. Understand our agreements are a flat rate monthly hosting fee with the current hosting facilities and February is the only month with a shortened time frame.

We also would like to point out that we encountered some issues with Energex uptime, resulting in a few days of mining downtime. As per our contract, we've reached out to Energex for a credit, and we expect to receive them mid-month, which will be applied to the next billing cycle. We will provide updates on this situation.

FOUNDER UPDATE: COMMITTED TO BMC'S SUCCESS

We want to share an important update with our community. During yesterday's office hours, we discussed our unwavering commitment to BMC and our collective goal of achieving green months. As an admin team, we made the decision to put our personal needs aside and cut our compensation/payroll at the beginning of the year to preserve capital for BMC Ventures.

We want to assure you that the founders are fully committed to serving BMC and ensuring its success. However, we also need to be transparent about the fact that we will be utilizing some of our time to work on other projects to subsidize our pay cuts. Rest assured that we will continue to be active in the server, attending office hours, and working behind the scenes to execute proposals and initiatives.

We love what we've built together and are doing everything we can to continue this project. We want you to understand that the level of communication may not be the same as before, but we want to give everyone context as to why things have to change and how much server activity you can expect from us moving forward. Just to be clear we're not leaving, and we plan to be with you every step of the way.
